You can play Harbour Town under tournament conditions on a Hilton Head golf vacation.

If you could only play one course on a Hilton Head golf vacation, I'd recommend Harbour Town Golf Links. In addition to being a highly scenic and exhilarating shotmaker's course, it presents the rare opportunity to play a PGA Tour venue, the site of the the perennially popular Verizon Heritage tournament (held April 17-20 this year).
Of course, even more unique than playing a PGA Tour course is the opportunity to play it under the exact conditions and setup the pros do, Sunday pin placements and all, and we found a way that you can do exactly that, the day after the tournament.
As part of its "Follow the Pros" golf package, Toronto-based GolfTI, is offering VIP badges to attend the final round of the Heritage, and tee times on Harbor Town Golf Links the very next morning (plus another Harbour Town round the day after that).
You'll have to get yourself to Harbour Town on April 20th to begin this Hilton Head golf vacation, but aside from that, the package includes:
- Two Nights at the Inn at Harbour Town, which we highly recommend
- VIP tickets to the final round of the Heritage Classic
- Access to the post-tournament party at the legendary Quarter Deck
- Two rounds at Harbour Town Golf Links, forecaddies included
- Two breakfasts, two lunches, and one dinner
- Services of a GolfTI guide
- All on-site gratuities
- Transfer back to the Savannah airport
- One-year subscription to Golf Magazine
At $1,995 per person (based on double occupancy) this wouldn't necessarily fall under the heading of discount golf vacations, but then, access and pampering like this comes at a price.
When we inquired about this Hilton Head golf vacation package today, GolfTI said there were still a few spots left and they graciously offered to knock 20 percent off the price (that's a discount of $399!) for Golf Vacation Insider readers. So, if you're interested, email reservations@golfti.com or call 866-866-9295 and mention GVI (no, we don't get a cut).
It seems the only thing not included in this fantasy-like Hilton Head golf vacation are tips for the forecaddies....and a gallery of cheering fans.
